The food was really good. It’s a great place to eat and love the decor inside and out. If you like the outdoors you’ll love this place. They don’t take debit or credit card. That’s the only downside. Cash only. We love this place and will be back soon. You need to try it.
The food was fantastic! This was our first time at Hunter’s. I had the 2-meat meal (pulled pork, brisket, beans and fries). The food was hot the portions were perfect and the order came out quickly! The only thing missing was dessert.
Very much enjoyed the food. Had the shoulder with some pigtails and some potato salad with some unsweetened tea. Very good, also enjoyed the overall atmosphere. Definitely worth sampling and I will absolutely come again.
I had brisket w/pigtails & swamp cabbage. He had shoulder slices w/tater salad & bowtie salad. All of it was absolutely delicious. Everybody there very friendly! Will definitely go back!. They open Wed Thurs Fridays 10am-8pm
Very good pork shoulder! It's quick and they have good prices for the amount of food served! This was my second trip, I definitely can recommend the "pig tail" fries. I liked the mayo coleslaw but wasn't a huge fan of the vinegar slaw, which I have never liked but wanted to try.
Nice little bbq place. Food tastes exactly as you would expect bbq type foods to taste. They have their own type of fries, "pig tails" which were good. Basic bbq foods in a laid back setting. 6 years later... Our Hunters Bar-B-Q kid's "plate"/ frisbee finally cracked Time for us to take the road trip back for some yummy Bar-B-Q!
I had the pulled pork platter with cowboy beans and pigtails. My wife had the pork tenderloin with potato salad and cowboy beans. The meat was tender and delicious, the hot BBQ sauce was really good. The beans are savory. The pigtails were great; they were hot and fresh and well seasoned.
Pretty good, but not great BBQ. I enjoyed the pulled pork plate with a side of vinegar slaw and baked beans. The pork was good, but not great. The slaw was really good as was the beans. I spent 12 on lunch, not too bad for the amount of food that you receive. I did really enjoy the ambiance of the place, so many decorations on the wall!
